Account Management

Is my personal information safe?

We care about your privacy. It is really important to us that you understand how we use your information. We do not store your payment info. All transactions are conducted through the PayPal platform. Along with PayPal, we are committed to keeping your payments safe and secure utilizing our elevated encryption technology. You can read our Privacy Policy here. The Privacy Policy is a part of our Terms of Service.

What if a Seller is Not Available?

Maybe you have found someone who you want to work with but they are on vacation, not taking orders, or even overbooked at the moment? Within a Seller’s profile page and on the Seller’s job page, you can send a direct message to the Seller by clicking the CONTACT button.

How does the affiliate program work?

Yes, Sellers and BUYERS can become affiliates! You can earn for referring traffic to Podcaster Pros. We pay 50% commission up to $50 for first-time buyers, and we have a $5 fixed referral commission for first-time sellers.  If you want to sign up to become an affiliate you can apply here.

What is the difference between the app and the site?

The Podcaster Pros Mobile App enables users to browse all the Jobs offered on Podcaster Pros.com. Users can communicate with each other through the App to create and manage orders. The app will always be adding new features in future updates.

How do I buy Jobs using the app?
To purchase a Job, simply click on the “BUY NOW” on the Job page. Adding Job Extras or Ordering Multiples can be added to your order with the “Order Additional” and “Extra Quantity” sections below the Seller’s Job description. Once you click on the Buy Now button, you are redirected to the payment page to complete the purchase with your preferred payment method using PayPal, the order will be created instantly.

What are my payment options on the app?
Currently, you can purchase Jobs via your Paypal or credit card

Payments and Withdrawals

Do I pay my seller directly?

Buyers pay Podcaster Pros for orders in advance. You cannot pay other users directly using any method other than ordering through the Podcaster Pros checkout page. In the case you have been asked to use another payment method, please report it immediately.

Why was my payment declined?

Payments may be declined for several different reasons. If your payment was declined, please check the following:

  • Make sure you entered the payment details correctly.
  • Inspect your credit/debit card and assure it is valid, and not expired.
  • Make sure you have available funds in the account for that card.

Usually, your Bank or payment source will have more information on why your payment was declined. We recommend double checking with your bank or conatcting PayPal at 1-(888) 221-1161 or check the PayPal Support Center.

If you still have issues with your payment, try using a different payment option or contact Podcaster Pros Customer Support for assistance. 

Can I withdraw money from my Podcaster Pros account?

You can only withdraw money from your Podcaster Pros account if you are a seller and have earned revenue through Podcaster Pros. Revenue earned through Podcaster Pros is deposited to your sales balance and is available for withdrawal after Podcaster Pros’ clearance period.

If you made a purchase as a buyer and received a refund, it will appear in your balance for use on another purchase of equal or less than the amount in your balance.

Note: If an order is cancelled and you are due a refund, the amount of the original order without the service fee will be placed in your shopping balance. Keep in mind, if you order a Job with revenues from your shopping or sales balance, you do not have to pay a service fee.

Placing Orders

Where is my order?

At times, payments may not immediately create an order. The cause of this issue is related to pre-screening transactions from your payment processor or bank before the funds are released to Podcaster Pros or there may be a technical issue with the payment processor sending those funds to Podcaster Pros.

In the event that this happens, please create a request to our Customer Support team with the following helpful information:
Your Paypal transaction ID from your purchase
– Paypal payments commonly are alphanumeric strings following a hashtag (#123ABC456DEF)
– Paypal receipts can be helpful as well.

Note: Transaction IDs are found in your receipt email.

The Job title or Seller name you purchased from
The total purchase amount

Customer Support can attempt to restore the order with the payment provided, or refund those payments back to the payment provider if we’re unable to do so.

Do I own what is delivered to me?

How the ownership and limitations work on Podcaster Pros: Unless stated otherwise in the Job description, when the work is delivered, the buyer is granted all intellectual property rights, including but not limited to, copyrights for the work delivered from the seller and the seller waives any and all moral rights therein. All transfer and assignment of intellectual property to buyer shall be subject to full payment for the Job.

How do I use a promo code?

If you receive a promotional code, you can apply it during the checkout process.

To apply a promo code:

  • When you find a Job you want to purchase, click BUY NOW.
  • Or Order Additional (enter coupon code here) and click BUY NOW.
  • Before you place your order, in the coupon code section,
  • Enter your promo code and click Apply.
  • When you are finished, click CHECKOUT.

How do I cancel my order?

We empower you to work things out with you seller and to try and settle conflicts between yourselves with help of Customer Service in our Resolution Center. For more information, see how the Resolution Center works here.

Does my refund include the service fee?

Yes, Podcaster Pros will refund the entire amount of your purchase to your balance.

Note: If you do not want the money refunded to your shopping balance and prefer that the money be reimbursed to your PayPal or credit card, we can issue a one time refund. 

How do I order a Job?

To order a Job, simply go to a seller’s Job page and click the BUY NOW button and, if available, select the package you wish to buy. On the job page you can also add extras to your purchase (if offered), or select multiple units of the Job.

Note: If you have any questions about the Job, you can contact the seller directly on the Job page.

What are Job extras and Job multiples?

Job Extras are additional services offered on top of the seller’s Job for an additional price defined by the seller. Buyers can also purchase additional quantities of the seller’s Job (defined as “Multiples”).

Account Management

How do I reset my password?

If you forgot your password, please go back to Podcaster Pros and click Sign In > Forgot Password. Enter the email used to log into your account. A password reset email will be sent to that address if the email matches the account. 

How do I close my account?

We hate to see you go, but if you must, then you can close your account by following this procedure. 

To deactivate your account: 

Once logged in, submit a customer service ticket for ACCOUNT DEACTIVATION. You will receive a message indicating that your Podcaster Pros account is closed.

What is Online Status?

The Online Status is indicated by a small green circle next to the username, which lets you know that the user is currently logged in to Podcaster Pros website or mobile application.

The online user status is visible on various pages, such as the Profile, Conversations, and Job pages. On search pages, you can filter the marketplace results according to users who are online.

How does the affiliate program work?

Payments and Withdrawals

How long does it take for me to get paid from an order?

Buyers pay Podcaster Pros for orders in advance. Once the order is created and started, sellers must fulfill their orders as described in their Job description and must deliver completed files and/or proof of work using the Deliver Your Order button (located on the Sales page).

Once work is delivered, the buyer has three days to respond and post a review (or 14 days for job with shipping). If no response is provided within the response time, the order will be considered completed. After the order is marked as complete, you have to wait 14 days to withdraw your funds.

Note: The waiting period for Top Rated Sellers is seven days.

Can I purchase Jobs with my job revenue?

You can purchase Jobs with your cleared revenue if you have enough needed to complete the full purchase. If the Job costs more than your cleared revenue, you can not split the purchase between your revenue and one of Podcaster Pros’ payment providers (ex. PayPal, credit card etc.).

Are there any fees when withdrawing revenue?

There are no fees for withdrawing through PayPal.

We do not currently offer withdrawal by Bank Transfer, Direct deposit, or any other means. If you need to change your PayPal email or if you would like to request other ways to withdraw funds in the future please contact customer service. 

Can I cancel my withdrawal?

Withdrawals are final and cannot be undone. We will not be able to refund or change this process once it has begun.

How do I claim unclaimed withdrawals?

If your withdrawal is marked as unclaimed on your PayPal account, then you must verify the email address you sent the withdrawal to with PayPal. Once a withdrawal is initiated, it will not be reversed.

Do I have to pay taxes on income earned on Podcaster Pros?

It is the responsibility of sellers to verify their personal tax obligation, Sellers must report, and pay taxes according to the laws of the state and/or country of residence, as applicable and required by local law and regulations.

Handling Orders

How can I contact a buyer?

There are two main ways to communicate with a buyer. First, if an order is initiated, a “Conversation” thread is created and you will be able to communicate with the buyer. You may also contact the buyer if the buyer contacts you first. Second, you can communicate to Buyers who have posted job requests by providing a custom offer.

What if my file upload or delivery upload fails?

First and foremost we recommend sending large files through Google Drive or similar service. Upload large file to your file sharing service of choice — copy link — then paste link in finished job message to Buyer. (To avoid further issues we reccommend keeping the file active and avalible for download for your Buyer for up to 14 days) 

If you are uploading files you can sometimes run into problems for an array of different reasons. If you are sure the file you are sending meets size requirements and are still having issues, check the following before asking for further assistance: 

  • Make sure your Flash is up to date on your computer. (Flash normally updates automatically for most modern browsers)
  • Disable pop up blockers for PodcasterPros.com or allow uploads/downloads through your Firewall/Anti-Virus protector from PodcasterPros.com.
  • Clear your cookies for PodcasterPros.com

Contact the Support Center if you continue to have problems with the upload.

Can I partially cancel/refund an order?

Orders can not be partially cancelled or refunded. Once an order is created and there is a need to partially cancel/refund your buyer, we recommend that you ask your buyer to place a new order. Once that new order is created and then marked as complete, you can cancel the original order.

How To Create A Deep Link?

To create a deep link, follow the steps below:

  1. Login to your account HERE
  2. Visit any page on Podcaster Pros you’d like to promote and copy the URL
  3. Go to “Affiliates” then “CREATE LINKS
  4. Paste the Podcaster Pros link into the generate affiliate link box and click “GENERATE URL

This unique link will entitle you to commissions from first-time buyers or first-time sellers.

Payments and Withdrawals

Do I need to reach a threshold before I get paid?

Once your account reaches $100 you will be able to make a withdrawal. If you haven’t reached $100, your earnings will still stay in your balance.

Once I’ve earned a commission, how will I be paid?

In order to be paid your commission, first, you have to provide us some information:

Enter your personal information: go to the “Profile” menu and click on the “Settings”.
Enter in your payment information: go to the “Settings” menu and click on the “Payments”. Finally, click “Edit” and fill in your full payment details.

Podcaster Pros Affiliates pays out commissions once per month, but only for accounts that have earned more than $100. At this time the only payment method we support is PayPal.

I reached $100 in earnings, why can’t I request payment?

Once you reach the $100 threshold you’ll be able to request your payment at the beginning of the following month. This is to prevent any fraud. 

In order to receive your commissions, every order is first checked for fraudulent activity and/or violations of our terms. Once approved, you will receive your payment on time.

How often are commissions paid?

Commissions are paid once a month. Payment is made on a net 30 basis, which starts at the beginning of the following month.
